Founded in 2006, Dravni univerzitet u Novom Pazaru (State University of Novi Pazar) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Novi Pazar (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Sumadija and Western Serbia. Officially recognized by the Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke i tehnolokog razvoja Republike Srbije (Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia), Dravni univerzitet u Novom Pazaru (DUNP) is a small coeducational Serbian higher education institution. Dravni univerzitet u Novom Pazaru (DUNP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 16 years old Serbian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. The admission rate range is 70-80% making this Serbian higher education organization a somewhat selective institution. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. DUNP also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
